The municipal tourist office (daily except Fri 8am-2pm; tel 493-1841) on the Corniche can supply a pretty useless map but little other information - especially if you want it in English. The best map of the town is included in Alexandria Night and Day, available in Alex or from a few of the more upmarket hotels in Mersa such as the Miami.
